Dr. Wesley Dunn, DVM

Dr. Wesley Dunn was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. The son of Dr. David Dunn (OB/GYN in Montgomery for many years. He attended Darlington School in Georgia and graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. Dr. Dunn began his practice career as co-owner with Dr. Bud Cardinal at Cardinal-Dunn Animal Hospital in Montgomery from 1984 until Dr. Cardinal’s retirement in 1994. He then became sole owner of the practice and sold it at the end of 2008. After practicing in Prattville for 4 ½ years, he returned to Montgomery to open a new practice. He purchased Phillips Animal Clinic and re-opened it as Phillips Dunn Animal Hospital Cypress Kennels in a new location at 5148 Troy Highway.

 

During his career, he has served as president of the Montgomery Veterinary Association and as a member of the executive Board of the Alabama Veterinary Association for many years. He was also elected as President of the Animal and Environmental Health Committee and also served on the Alabama State Board of Health for 4 years under State Health Officer Dr. Williamson, who still serves in that position. Dr. Dunn is serving on the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners until November of 2028.

 

Dr. Dunn is married to Pat Dunn, formerly of Washington, Georgia. They have two sons, Reese and David. Reese lives in Auburn with his wife, Jennifer and their two daughters. David and his wife, Molly also live in Auburn. Dr. Dunn’s hobbies include hunting, fishing and golf and spending time at his home in North Carolina.

Dr. Caroline Walker, DVM

Dr. Walker is a 2024 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Montgomery, she attended Montgomery Academy before moving to Auburn to complete high school. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and later transferred to Auburn University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Organismal Biology. While at Auburn, Dr. Walker was also a proud member of the Auburn Equestrian Team.

After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Walker began her career in Birmingham at a busy general practice, where she gained valuable experience in small animal medicine before relocating back to Auburn to be with her fiancé.

​

Her professional passions include educating—whether it’s clients, students, or veterinary staff—and building strong partnerships with pet owners to ensure the best possible care for their animals. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and believes in working hand-in-hand with families to support their pets’ lifelong health and happiness.

 

Outside of work, Dr. Walker enjoys life in Auburn with her fiancé, Justin, and their three pets—Hershey, Hobbs, and Trout. She is currently serving as a relief veterinarian for Pike Road Animal Hospital as she and Justin prepare for their wedding in January.
